Our mission is simple:
We want each and every child in our care to develop a strong sense of self-worth & belonging by creating a safe & exciting environment that will inspire little minds & help each child build a positive relationship with learning!
Our Philosophy:
At first glance, our school may appear to be small but once you take a closer look, you’ll see our mission is big. In fact, it may even appear to be growing! The Children’s Greenhouse offers a unique approach to fostering the development of the whole child. Rather than focusing on what the child is learning we focus on how the child is learning.
We do this by providing children with quality experiences that nurture their natural curiosity to learn. Our children are never confined to tables when lessons are implemented. Classroom curriculums aren’t ever limited to one particular theme. Children aren’t told to stop working on an activity they’ve made progress on because their activity time has ended. Our teachers will never take away opportunities for the children to learn from their mistakes by offering only moderate challenges and intervening at the first signs of frustration.
At The Children’s Greenhouse we recognize that each child is unique, which is why our mission is unique. Our teachers use an emergent curriculum, and our classrooms have been thoughtfully designed to foster growth and teach every child to be resourceful, take initiative, innovate, adapt, and be inspired by overcoming challenges.
The Children’s Greenhouse encourages parents to come in and observe our classrooms, meet our dedicated staff, and experience The Children’s Greenhouse firsthand.
